How many Floating Village in Siem Reap? From the top of my head there are 4 Floating Village in Siem Reap, there is Meach Chrey, Phnom Krom, Kampong Phluk and Kampong Khleang, and then I could be wrong if there is more. Anyway out of those I have mention my favorite is Kampong Phluk Floating Village not only their unique beauty from the other but also how not so much spoils by the many tourists. Its not hard to why Kampong Phluk the Floating Village in Siem Reap is one of the many favorite, since the water and the stream is very scenic and as I have mention not so much spoils by tourists which of course bringing the peaces and tranquil right back to your eyes and memories, the trips is taking about 2-3 hours you will pass through the passage of water canal into the heart of Floating Village, where school, pagoda, housing, police-station and the commune officials which is basically where you can find on normal Village on land but on water.
There are a few local restaurants, where freshly caught fishes being serve, there is also a crocodiles farm on the village as well, if you fancy a private tour through the swam of tree submerged half trunk in the rivers by small boat (extra costs, so ask before taking a tour) then in my opinion is also a great options and it’s should be a half day trip after the temples run.
